Business owners be aware of resurfacing scam callers

Be aware of a man claiming to be a Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) or associated with, who is working on an anti-social behaviour campaign and selling advertising space in a good citizenship magazine. This magazine simply does not exist. We cannot name the company responsible for legal reasons. There are legitimate clubs that do actually exist throughout the UK and work hard to prevent anti-social behavioural issues.

The caller may also claim to work for or be associated with Police Community Clubs of Great Britain, which is a legitimate community initiative fundraising organisation.

These scammers constantly change their tactics and can be very convincing – don’t give them a penny! If in any doubt, contact Action Fraud : To report a fraud, call Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040 or use their online fraud reporting tool.
