Why not DSL or Fibre Optic shared Broadband?

All our circuits are 1:1 synchronous leased lines (dedicated not shared). Basically, unlike other internet connectivity technology e.g. DSL, fibre etc. this means that if we supply you with a 10Mb line, you will receive 10Mb downstream and 10Mb upstream at all times.

Ethernet in the First Mile (EFM)

EFM is now becoming more affordable and more available throughout Scotland and the UK. As the speed obtained by installing EFM remains constant and always available, EFM supersedes traditional bonded ADSL and fibre connectivity services.

EFM mixes new technology with existing traditional copper in the first mile. Speeds from 1Mb to 35Mb can be achieved over multiple copper pairs using EFM technology. Unlike todays emerging fibre rollouts by major communications companies, EFM offers true uncontended, symmetric upload/download speeds and guaranteed bandwidth. Ethernet First Mile is affordable, fast and reliable IP connectivity.

ADSL Backup

Both 2Mb leased lines and EFM circuits are now available with a backup ADSL+ solution; a secondary ADSL broadband line. The ADSL+ backup service is inclusive of a PSTN (phone line if required) and boasts the highest speeds available in Scotland and the UK today.
